Cancellation & Refund Policy

Merchant businesses must make their return and cancellation policies available to customers on the website, and customers should agree to these terms during the ordering process. Customers are required to accept the cancellation and return terms before submitting payment. After an order is submitted, the policy may be sent to the customer along with the order confirmation.

Cancellation Policy

Himalyan Heritage Tours aims to assist customers as much as possible and follows a liberal cancellation policy. Under this policy:

• Cancellation requests will be accepted only if made within 72 hours of placing the order. Requests are not accepted once the order has been processed or shipped by vendors/merchants.
• Orders placed under Same Day Delivery cannot be cancelled.
• Orders placed during special occasions—such as Diwali, Pongal, Valentine's Day, and similar events—cannot be cancelled due to limited-time offers.
• Perishable items such as flowers or food items cannot be cancelled. Refunds or replacements will be offered only if the delivered item is proven to be defective or of poor quality.
• Damaged or defective durable and non-durable items (such as mobile phones, mixers, calculators, etc.) must be reported within 21 days. These claims are subject to merchant verification. For books, DVDs, software, and similar items, issues must be reported within 5 days.
• If the delivered product does not match what is shown on the website or does not meet expectations, the issue must be reported within 24 hours of receipt. The customer service team will evaluate the claim and take appropriate action.
• For products covered by manufacturer warranties, customers must contact the manufacturer directly.

Refund Policy

Purchases of products/services are covered with a 30-day money-back guarantee. If you are not satisfied with your purchase, a full refund will be issued. Refund requests must be submitted within ninety (90) days of the purchase date and include the order number provided in the confirmation email. Feedback is appreciated but optional.

Refunds do not apply to completed services such as installation or knowledge-base hosting. All eligible refunds are processed within 21 days.
