Rules & Regulations – Himalyan Heritage Tours

Carrying arms or ammunition inside the Tiger Reserve is strictly prohibited.

Pets are not allowed inside Corbett National Park or the Tiger Reserve.

Walking or trekking inside the reserve is strictly prohibited for visitor safety.

Driving inside the park after sunset is not allowed.

Cooking inside the park or forest premises is not permitted.

Visitors must carry a litter bag and take back all non-biodegradable waste such as plastic, cans, bottles, and metal foils.

A registered and authorized guide is mandatory for all safaris.

Smoking outside residential complexes or lighting any fire inside the park is prohibited.

Fishing or angling without a permit is prohibited. Fishing with permits is allowed only outside the park and in Sonanadi Sanctuary between 1st October and 30th June.

Loud music is strictly not allowed anywhere in the park.

Visitors must follow safari timings and stay strictly on designated safari routes.

Honking or driving above speed limits is prohibited inside the reserve.

Entry into the core area without permission is strictly prohibited.

Teasing animals, shouting, or attempting to feed wildlife is banned.

Visitors must check in on the first reserved day or inform authorities in advance, otherwise the reservation may be cancelled.

An authorization certificate must be obtained before leaving the forest lodge within the reserve.

Visitors must wear clothing that blends with the natural surroundings such as khaki, olive green, or other dull colours.

All lights, fans, and taps must be turned off when not in use.

Entry permits must be obtained at the park reception, and visitors must reach their stay location before sunset.

Day visits to Dhikala Zone are not allowed except through authorized conducted trips arranged by Himalyan Heritage Tours.

Private buses are not allowed inside Bijrani Tourism Zone.

Entry permits are non-transferable and non-refundable.

Non-vegetarian food and alcohol consumption are strictly prohibited inside the park.

Entrance fees must be paid at every entry gate.

Plants and natural elements must not be removed from the park.

All visitors are governed by the Wildlife Protection Act and its rules.
